Generalist Anesthesiologist - Full Spectrum Cases

This position is for a versatile generalist anesthesiologist comfortable with a broad range of cases and open to in-house call, including weekends.It is located in Des Moines, IA, with an immediate start date and full-time schedule.The practice setting includes a Level II Trauma Center with a mix of hospital and surgical center environments, approximately 45 anesthesiologists, and 28 operating locations.The clinical scope covers general surgery, orthopedics, urology, robotics, cardiac, and pediatric cases.Requirements include proficiency in regional, spinal, epidural anesthesia, TEE certification for cardiac cases, and a pediatric fellowship. Ability to work independently and occasionally supervise CRNAs is needed.Systems involve Epic and paper charting, with a mix of team-based and independent coverage.Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible, ACLS and BLS certified, and vaccinated for flu.
