This position will be *on-site* and will require an active *Top Secret*.\nLead systems engineering efforts to deliver enterprise SATCOM capabilities supporting a worldwide network of SATCOM facilities.\nDesign, develop, integrate, and enhance SATCOM systems supporting tactical and strategic users.\nTranslate operational and mission requirements into technical requirements and system specifications.\nDevelop customer-focused engineering solutions based on mission needs and existing operational environments.\nSupport the design and development of SATCOM system architectures and enterprise-level capabilities.\nEvaluate and integrate advanced technologies to modernize and improve existing SATCOM systems.\nSupport multiple phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including acquisition, engineering, integration, sustainment, operations, and management.\nCoordinate technical efforts to ensure SATCOM capabilities meet operational, performance, and mission requirements.\nSupport the development and fielding of next-generation SATCOM capabilities across geographically distributed facilities.\nCollaborate with customers, engineers, and other technical stakeholders to identify requirements, resolve technical challenges, and deliver effective SATCOM solutions.\nQualifications 4+ years ofexperiencein DoD end-to-end SATCOM systems engineering and architecture designorintegration for Defense Information Systems Network(DISN) orSATCOM Gateway or Teleport capabilities\n\n4+ years ofexperiencein DoD system lifecycle activities such as acquisition, requirements analysis, engineering, design, integration, sustainment, or technical refresh\n\n4+ years ofexperienceassessing satellite communications system architectures andcurrenthardware limitations, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches, design, development, and implementation\n\n4+ years ofexperienceleading engineering tasks associated with the development, design,orintegration of SATCOM systems comprised of multiple components and subsystems\n\n4+ years ofexperienceparticipating in the planning, organizing, and conducting of technical project design and development, testing, fielding, and sustainment\n\nKnowledge ofthe DoD systems acquisition process and systems engineering requirements for military SATCOM systems such as wideband, narrowband, or protected\n\nKnowledge ofDoD Architecture Framework(DoDAF), Satellite Communications, and IP network technologies\n\nAbility tocoordinate and consolidate disparate design efforts for an enterprise SATCOM system optimizing cost, schedule, performance risks, and developing mitigation plans\n\nTop Secret clearance\n\nBachelor’s degreein an Engineering or IT field\n\nNice If You Have:\nExperienceworking at DoD CIO, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Service, or Agency level\n\nExperiencedeveloping systems engineering documentation such as CDD, CONOPS, Systems Engineering Plans, Systems Architecture Diagrams, Memorandum of Understanding(MOU), Memorandum of Agreements(MOA), or Test Plans, Engineering Change Proposals(ECP)\n\nINCOSE CSEP, ASEPCertification\n\nEssential Requirements:\nUS Citizenship is required.\nActive Top Secret\nIn compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed .
