In this position, you will utilize MasterCAM to develop intricate toolpaths for mills and lathes, streamline production workflows, and maintain high precision standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nCore Responsibilities\n\nDevelop, test, and refine multi-axis CNC programs for mills and lathes using G & M code and MasterCAM.\nHelp reduce cycle times and lower tooling expenses by creating highly efficient machining strategies.\nSelect cost-effective raw materials, custom fixtures, and cutting tools that align with specific project requirements.\nProvide rapid support to the shop floor by diagnosing and resolving issues related to machine setups, program errors, or tool wear.\nCreate comprehensive setup sheets, tool lists, and standard operating procedures to assist shop machinists.\nCollaborate with Quality Control to implement advanced measurement technologies and ensure ongoing adherence to ISO standards.\nSupport long-term shop floor growth by mastering new software applications and measurement instrumentation.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nA Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience in the industry.\nAt least 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and programming, preferably within an extrusion or manufacturing setting.\nAdvanced proficiency in CAM software, specifically MasterCAM, and CAD platforms like SolidWorks.\nExpertise in G & M code, combined with the ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.\nStrong attention to detail with experience in precision measuring tools and ISO quality management systems.\nA self-directed approach with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nCompensation and Benefits\n\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.\nCompany-provided life insurance and disability protection.\nRetirement savings through a 401(k) with company match, plus a Health Savings Account (HSA).\nPaid vacation time and observed holidays.\nOpportunities for professional development and ongoing on-the-job training.\n\nApplicants must successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen and a criminal background check.
