Taylor, Inc. is actively seeking a Systems Administrator responsible for leading the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of a wide range of training solutions for a 5th generation fixed-wing fighter program across joint Air Force, Navy, USMC and foreign partner fielding sites.\r\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux and Windows system administration, and a proven ability to manage and maintain secure, mission-critical systems. This position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with DoD security standards.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nAdminister, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.\r\nImplement and manage system automation using Ansible for configuration management and deployment tasks.\r\nMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates in accordance with DoD security policies.\r\nPerform system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.\r\nEnsure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, including STIGs.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.\r\nUtilize ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) to perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability and compliance scans of IT assets.\r\nDevelop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.\r\nSupport the coordination of SIL activities, including coordination of system demonstrations.\r\nProvide technical support and training to end users as needed.\r\nSupport various other Joint USN/USMC/USAF programs as needed.\r\nPosition Requirements\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.\r\nIAT Level II DoD Approved 8140 (DoDD 8570) Baseline Certification.\r\n3+ years of experience in Linux system administration (e.g., RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) is preferred.\r\n3+ years of experience in Windows system administration is preferred.\r\nStrong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.\r\nHighly organized with strong level of attention to detail.\r\nSalary & Benefits\r\nSalary Range: $80,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience.\r\nEmployment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Full-Time).\r\nFour Weeks of Paid Leave\r\nTen Paid Holidays\r\nHealth Insurance, including Medical, Vision, and Prescription Coverage\r\nCompany HSA/HRA Contributions\r\nDental Insurance\r\nTerm Life Insurance\r\nDisability Insurance\r\n401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Matching Contributions\r\nIRS Section 125 Flexible Benefits Plan\r\nSupplemental Health Coverage Plans\r\nSupplemental Disability and Life Insurance Plans\r\nTuition Assistance\r\nReduced Rates for Corporate Fitness Membership\r\nSecurity Clearance\r\nLevel of Clearance Required: Top Secret Eligible (Active Preferred).\r\nTravel\r\nEstimated Travel: 25% of time to CONUS/OCONUS locations.\r\nAbout the Organization\r\nJ.F.
