The DevSecOps Engineer understands the software development lifecycle (from coding to support) and has the understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins Shared Libraries, Groovy scripting, and Jenkinsfile pipelines. This role is critical to enhancing our CI/CD capabilities, improving deployment reliability, and embedding security into our development lifecycle.\r\nLocation\r\nThis is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.\r\nThe Main Responsibilities\r\nWork under agile principles.\r\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.\r\nDevelop and manage Jenkins Shared Libraries to standardize pipeline logic across projects.\r\nWrite and maintain Groovy-based Jenkinsfiles for declarative and scripted pipelines.\r\nIntegrate security checks and compliance validations into build and deployment workflows.\r\nCollaborate with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.\r\nMonitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot build failures and deployment issues.\r\nMaintain and optimize tools such as Nexus, SonarQube, and Git repositories.\r\nSupport containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.\r\nKnowledge on how to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a test and product environment.\r\nAbility to identify, assess and integrate various open-source technologies and cloud services.\r\nMentor and train other DevOps engineers and seek to continually improve processes.\r\nWhat We Look For in a Candidate\r\n7+ years overall professional Software Development and Operations experience.\r\nStrong experience with Jenkins, including Shared Libraries and pipeline design.\r\nProficiency in Groovy, Bash, and Python scripting.\r\nDeep understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices.\r\nExperience with GitHub Actions for workflow automation and CI/CD.\r\nFamiliarity with REST APIs, JSON, and tools like curl.\r\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).\r\nAgile development experience using Jira and sprint planning.\r\nExperience with good engineering practices (test driven development, continuous integration: Jenkins)\r\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate via MS Teams.\r\nKnowledge of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.\r\nExperience with ServiceNow and customer support portals preferred.\r\nUNIX/Linux and Windows administration experience preferred.\r\nCompensation\r\nThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.
