This role supports full lifecycle delivery-from site walks and rough-in to commissioning, client handoff, and ongoing service-while ensuring code compliance, safety, documentation quality, and excellent customer experience.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nTechnical & Installation Leadership\r\nLead installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of low-voltage security systems including: Access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection\r\nInterpret and execute drawings, schematics, and project documentation\r\nPerform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and advanced service work\r\nEnsure installations meet code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company standards\r\nProject & Team Leadership\r\nAct as the on-site lead for assigned projects, coordinating daily work activities\r\nMentor and guide technicians and apprentices, ensuring quality and efficiency\r\nCommunicate progress, challenges, and change needs to Project Managers\r\nSupport project closeout, punch lists, and system turnover documentation\r\nCustomer & Stakeholder Engagement\r\nServe as a professional, customer-facing representative of Tech Electronics\r\nExplain system functionality and provide basic user training when required\r\nMaintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and jobsite professionalism\r\nSafety, Quality & Documentation\r\nEnforce jobsite safety practices and company policies\r\nMaintain accurate documentation, as-builts, and service records\r\nAssist with quality control inspections and system acceptance testing\r\nQualifications\r\nRequired\r\n5+ years of experience in low-voltage security systems installation\r\nProven experience leading projects or crews in the field\r\nStrong knowledge of\r\nAccess control, CCTV, intrusion systems\r\nLow-voltage cabling standards and best practices\r\nAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams\r\nValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites\r\nPreferred\r\nManufacturer certifications (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, etc.)\r\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification\r\nNICET or other industry certifications\r\nExperience with system commissioning and customer training\r\nWe're an equal opportunity employer.
