Director, Business Management ReportingLocation: San Fernando Valley area, CAEmployment Type: Full-TimeLevel: Senior ManagerOverviewA leading live events and entertainment organization is seeking a Director of Business Management Reporting to lead management and corporate reporting and provide in-depth financial analysis across multiple lines of business. This role partners closely with production, operations, and senior leadership to establish budgets, track real-time performance, and evaluate profitability.The ideal candidate is a strategic finance leader with strong production or project accounting experience, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee corporate and management reporting, including consolidation, departmental forecasts, and annual operating plansLead monthly financial and operational forecasting, including detailed variance analysisPrepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership and key stakeholdersPartner with production and operations teams to develop budgets, monitor spend, and assess project-level and business-unit profitability in real timeDrive finance and reporting initiatives that improve operational efficiency, transparency, and scalabilityLead, mentor, and develop finance managers and analysts; optimize team structure and workflows as the organization growsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in coordination with accounting and FP&A teamsEnsure effective, recurring financial review meetings with management and cross-functional partnersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)9+ years of project, production, or cost accounting experience (or equivalent financial experience)5+ years of people leadership experience, including building, restructuring, and scaling teamsAdvanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skillsStrong executive communication and presentation abilitiesHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExperience with financial consolidation and planning tools; OneStream experience preferredExperience supporting close processes in a complex, multi-entity organization or large public company environment preferredWork Environment & ExpectationsFast-paced, deadline-driven role with periodic evening or weekend work as requiredExposure to dynamic operational settings, including large-scale events and live productionsEqual Opportunity StatementThis organization is committed to building inclusive, diverse teams and provides equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees.
