cargo is identified and inspected before loading and unloading and compared to shippers.\nEnsure discrepancies are documented and handled according to proper procedure.\nInspect material handling equipment for defects and notify maintenance accordingly.\nCompile records related to shipping and receiving.\nMaintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.\nSolid knowledge of logistics, JIT deliveries, coordination and organization of materials and equipment used in the manufacturing process.\nSupervise the completion of general yard duties, such as housekeeping, cleanup, inventory/material counts and general organization.\nMay assist workers in shipping and receiving activities.\nComputer Skills :\nNice to have / will be trained if necessary:\no Microsoft Office Suite\no ERP system\no material handling software\nCertificates & Licenses :\n· Fork truck license preferred.\n· If proficient but not certified, we can administer the certificate
