Other duties may be assigned.\nQuality Program Leadership\nDevelop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) strategy aligned with product and development goals.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, DevOps, and project management) to embed quality practices into every phase of the SDLC.\nDefine quality metrics and reporting dashboards to monitor performance, risk, and defects.\nTesting Oversight\nOversee creation, review, and execution of test plans and test cases for all projects.\nEnsure full traceability of requirements to test coverage and validation results.\nDefine the test strategy across manual and automated testing, prioritizing risk-based approaches.\nAutomated Testing Strategy\nDesign the roadmap for automated testing, with an initial focus on unit and regression testing.\nCollaborate with development teams to ensure unit tests are robust and consistently maintained.\nImplement and integrate tools and frameworks for automated regression testing (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, NUnit, Cypress, etc.).\nBuild and mentor a QA team with automation capabilities and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and speed.\nRisk & Defect Management\nEnsure defects are logged, prioritized, and resolved in accordance with severity and project timelines.\nLead root cause analysis (RCA) and define corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for major quality issues.\nEstablish gates and criteria for release readiness and post-release evaluations.\nExperience and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or managerial role.\nStrong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) and quality engineering principles.\nDemonstrated success designing and executing test strategies and managing quality plans for complex applications.\nExperience implementing or managing automated testing frameworks and tools.\nHands-on experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira), test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr), and automation platforms.\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to influence cross-functional teams.\nExperience with internally developed B2B or workflow software platforms.\nFamiliarity with performance testing tools and security testing practices.\nISTQB or equivalent QA certification.\nExperience working in regulated industries or with compliance-driven environments (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).\nStrategic mindset with a strong bias for action and automation.\nAbility to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDetail-oriented with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nWorking Conditions / Physical Demands\nSitting at workstation for prolong periods of time. Extensive computer work. Workstation may be exposed to overhead fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Fast paced work environment.
