If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job SummaryGrady Health System is seeking a PRN / Pool Occupational Therapist (OT) to support the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services across inpatient and related care settings. This role is ideal for clinicians who value schedule flexibility while continuing to work with medically complex rehabilitation patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.The Occupational Therapist practices within the professional scope defined by the Georgia Occupational Therapy Practice Act, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence, functional recovery, and improved quality of life.In this role, the Occupational Therapist provides evaluation and treatment services across designated service areas while supporting departmental coverage needs. The therapist is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating occupational therapy interventions for patients referred to the Occupational Therapy Department at Grady, ensuring care is delivered with the highest standards of clinical quality and patient-centered focus.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and therapeutic interventions for assigned patient populationsDeliver patient-centered treatment for individuals with complex medical and functional rehabilitation needsCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to coordinate patient care plansDevelop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, progress, and clinical outcomesMonitor, screen, and follow occupational therapy consults within assigned service areasDeliver care that addresses patients’ physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needsMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standardsProvide PRN / Pool coverage across designated service areas as departmental needs requireRequired QualificationsBachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)Licensed or license-eligible as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Georgia, with Georgia licensure required by the start date of employmentMinimum of three (3) years of clinical occupational therapy experienceClearly defined clinical expertise developed through professional experience and/or advanced certificationAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a teaching hospital or academic medical centerEqual Opportunity EmployerGrady Health System is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
