optimization, scalability, and operational improvements.\r\nTypical Day\r\nAnalyze platform utilization metrics, logs, and operational data to identify trends and capacity requirements.\r\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand current and future business demands.\r\nLead discussions focused on platform enhancements, infrastructure planning, and technology adoption.\r\nCreate technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and strategic recommendations.\r\nCoordinate project activities across operations, infrastructure, and business teams.\r\nParticipate in governance and advisory meetings to align platform capabilities with organizational priorities.\r\nWork with vendors and internal partners to evaluate technologies and support platform initiatives.\r\nTeam Environment\r\nPart of a globally distributed High Performance Computing team supporting enterprise engineering and simulation workloads.\r\nCollaborative environment with regular interaction across business, engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams.\r\nRole combines technical consulting, business analysis, architecture planning, and project coordination responsibilities.\r\nPrimarily focused on strategic planning and stakeholder engagement rather than day-to-day platform administration.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\r\n5+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, platform consulting, systems architecture, business analysis, project management, or a related technical discipline.\r\nExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.\r\nStrong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments and technology planning.\r\nExperience facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\r\nExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.\r\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience supporting or working within High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.\r\nFamiliarity with engineering, modeling, simulation, or scientific computing workloads.\r\nExperience with hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.\r\nKnowledge of heterogeneous operating systems, including Linux and Windows platforms.\r\nExposure to workload schedulers such as PBS, Slurm, or LSF.\r\nFamiliarity with high-performance storage, parallel file systems, high-speed interconnect technologies, CPU/GPU computing architectures, or compute optimization strategies.\r\nExperience developing technology roadmaps, capacity forecasts, and infrastructure planning
