Read our Belonging, Inclusion and Diversity Statement here.\n\nWe move fast, adapt quickly, and take pride in upholding the highest standards of quality in everything we do.\n\nTemporary Front-End Associate\n\nJob Purpose\n\nThis role is responsible for increasing customer confidence and loyalty by providing accurate, fast and courteous customer checkout, consistent operating conditions and a friendly atmosphere.\n\nEmployment in this role is temporary, may end at any time, and is generally limited within a location’s defined seasonal time period.\n\nEssential Responsibilities\n\nResponsibility\n\n% Of Time\n\nProvide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner. Listen to and appropriately escalate customer concerns to management with a positive attitude. Offer product suggestions when appropriate.\n\n40%\n\nManage lane according to service standards while maintaining financial responsibility. Accurately handle all cash register operations; operate cashiering equipment accurately and efficiently recognizing all forms of tender and providing the correct change when appropriate.\n\n30%\n\nOperate department equipment and tools. Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; Put up discarded or returned merchandise and stock front end products by handling and moving merchandise efficiently and safely; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost. Return carts to shopping cart corral.
