This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies and contribute to the creation of complex parts used across various industries.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and modify CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs for EDM machines using CAD/CAM software such as Striker\nSet up EDM equipment, including preparing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to technical drawings and schematics.\nOperate EDM machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.\nConduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.\nTroubleshoot machining issues related to electrical discharge processes, adjusting parameters as needed for optimal performance.\nMaintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspection reports, and machine logs.\nCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to interpret schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings for accurate fabrication.\nSkills\nProficiency in Stiker / CAD drawing system and CAD/CAM programming for designing and editing machining programs.\nStrong knowledge of CNC programming and operation for EDM, CNC lathe, CNC milling machines, stamping presses, and other manufacturing equipment.\nExperience with electrical discharge machining techniques including wire EDM and sinker EDM processes.\nFamiliarity with tooling design, fabrication, and assembly processes.\nAbility to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately.\nMechanical aptitude with hands-on skills in welding, fabrication, hand tools usage, and precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.\nUnderstanding of GD&T principles to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.\nKnowledge of manufacturing best practices including machining operations like stamping press work and tooling setup.\nStrong math skills for calculating dimensions, feed rates, speeds, and other machining parameters.\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
