Our Electronic Engineer position is full-time with Monday through Friday with daytime hours. This challenging position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, as well as CAD. This position directly reports to the Director of Engineering. A successful candidate can plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
Responsibilities:
Reading/drawing schematics and electrical diagrams
Analyzing/composing CAD drawings
Reverse engineering motor controls at the component level
Developing bill of materials
Researching parts and/or components
Building test sets
Writing procedures
Training/supporting repair technicians
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in EE or EET or an AAS (AAS must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Electronics Engineering Field).
Must be proficient in reading and understanding schematics
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Computer skills to include Microsoft Office
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Team oriented and possess a positive attitude with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve departmental and company objectives
Strong sense of initiative, and a self-starter
Proficient attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to occasionally lift, push and/or pull objects that are less than 50 pounds with or without accommodation
