This is the first step of building a tower section.\n\nAs a Cutting Table Operator, you must be able to :\n\nOperate a cutting machine (plasma cutting table)\nBevel all sides of steel plates using the beveling machine\nPosition steel plates on the cutting table using the vacuum plate lifter\nSafely operate the overhead crane (see requirement below)\nRemove scrap from the plates\nGrind the plates as needed\nVerify thickness, dimensions and quality of steel plate surface\nRecord information on the follow-up files\nPerform all others duties as assigned to help out the crew\n\nVALUED SKILLS :\nManual dexterity;\nSense of observation;\nDetail oriented;\nRigorously follow established procedures;\nCollaboration and team work\n\nREQUIREMENTS :\nMust have the ability to wear a tight-fitting respirator;\nMust be able to :\nClimb stairs and ladders; work at heights\nLift and carry between 30-50 lbs\nStand and walk for long periods of time\nBend, kneel, squat, twist, reach\nWork above shoulders\nPosition is required to operate an overhead crane.
