The position maintains a client caseload and the corresponding documentation in compliance with program regulations. The position supports the mission and objectives of the Leased Housing program through the delivery of professional and knowledgeable services to the community.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nCommunicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle any concerns\nScreen client inquiries for eligibility\nCheck to ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve client concerns:\nRe-certifications/Lease-ups\nAnnual and interim income adjustments\nChanges in family composition/Change of address\nMove-outs/Transfers/Inspections\nMaintain client caseload as well as appropriate documentation ensuring compliance with program regulations\nExplain program requirements, regulations and procedures to applicants, participants and owners\nUphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, Compassion\nThe duties listed above are representative of the work performed. Other related duties may be assigned.\nQualifications\nHS Diploma or Equivalent Education\nFamiliarity with computers and data entry\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage on-going projects concurrently\nProficiency in math, Microsoft Office or similar technology\nSensitivity to the needs of diverse, low income populations. Demonstrated ability to handle emotionally stressful situations and manage conflict\nAbility to manage several tasks at once\nStrong interpersonal, verbal, written, and negotiation skills\nEffective customer service, interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written\nAbility to maintain confidentiality. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure\nDesire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals\nMust be willing to travel to and work out of our Salem, MA extension office up to 2 days per month\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior related experience\nFamiliarity with housing regulations\nBilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer English/Portuguese)\nAssociate’s degree\nBenefit Information*\nAt Community Teamwork, our employees enjoy best-in-class benefits to support their physical, financial and emotional wellness.
