The ECC serves as the primary owner for managing product changes, overseeing the process from initial request through production operations, and obsolescence.\nThe incumbent will work closely with engineering, quality, production, suppliers, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of project scope, timing, and production readiness. The ECC maintains all master data, documentation, standard work, and communication plans.\nThe ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nEngineering Change Management:\nLead and manage the engineering change process from initiation to implementation including engineering change records, product lifecycle data, and bill of materials.\nReview and analyze engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change orders (ECOs) for completeness and accuracy.\nEnsure timely and accurate communication of engineering changes to all relevant stakeholders. Ensure all subordinate cross-functional activities are supported and properly implemented.\nMaintain detailed records of all engineering changes and ensure intended changes are fully realized with maximum gains.\nData Enrichment and Master Data Management:\nEnrich and maintain product data to ensure it is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.\nCollaborate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to gather and validate data.\nImplement data enrichment processes and tools to improve data quality and accessibility.\nSupport Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and Material Classification programs.\nPerform regular audits of engineering data to identify and correct discrepancies.\nDevelop and implement data maintenance procedures and best practices.\nNew Product Introduction / Inventory Control:\nLead Phase-In / Phase-Out process to ensure supply chain continuity. Ensure planning parameters properly align with intended supply chain ramp-up and ramp-down of relevant inventory.\nMonitor and manage OSMI (Obsolete, Slow-Moving, and Inactive) inventory. Identify and analyze inventory items and develop strategies to minimize obsolescence.\nCollaborate with production management teams and inventory management teams to ensure transitions plans are fully executed to minimize disruptions.\nPerforms daily, weekly, monthly and annual standard work processes to support rigorous inventory management, supplier relations, data management and operational effectiveness.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective material and information flow throughout the entire value stream.\nFacilitates phase-in/phase-out projects associated with design changes, value-engineering, supplier sourcing changes and product lifecycle management.\nSupport inventory planning and material flow planning goals.\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements in engineering change management, data enrichment, and data maintenance.\nParticipate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.\nCreate and update standard work as required.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree preferred; work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.\n3+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, materials management, or engineering discipline.\nStrong understanding of engineering change processes and documentation.\nExperience with PLM systems, ERP systems, and inventory control systems.\nAbility to manage multiple complex changes simultaneously, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nProvide technical leadership for assigned projects, including product improvement and cost reduction initiatives.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills to lead meetings, summarize decisions, and coordinate across departments.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$56,300.00 - $80,255.00\nCompensation Type:\nSalary\nIncentive Eligible:\nNo\nSales Commission Eligible:\nNo\nDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
