You will work in the center of a world-class engineering team with a sustained track record of success. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring the execution of the project(s) within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. As the Program Manager, you will work with the CPU Core Unit Teams and Disciplines to ensure the effective and efficient execution of AMD’s CPU Core programs.\n\nTHE PERSON:\n\nYou take ownership of issues and approach challenges relentlessly with critical thinking and creativity. If so, then join us!\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDefine, plan, and track engineering program execution based on senior technical guidance.\nInterface with all CPU Core Design disciplines, including Leadership, Architecture/Logic Design, Performance, Physical Design, Design Verification, DFT, and Post-Silicon Validation/Debug.\nCraft, lead, and continually improve program-level processes and methodologies.\nIdentify and manage program dependencies, issues, and risks.\nCommunicate and negotiate with suppliers and customers.\nAlign and manage program deliverables.\nAutomate and track metrics and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the operation.\nSynchronize team communications and reviews with AMD senior and executive management and customers.\nProvide miscellaneous program leadership and support as required.\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nSolid understanding of the CPU Core design lifecycle.\nProgram management experience with a large Semiconductor Design team.\nSemiconductor design experience in one or more of the following areas:\nArchitecture and Logic design\nDesign Verification\nPerformance Analysis and Correlation\nImplementation/Physical Design\nPost Silicon Validation/Debug\nExperience leading and influencing cross-functional teams with horizontal or matrix leadership models.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to handle all levels of interaction, including executive-level.\nDemonstrated organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills.\nADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE DESIRED:\nProgramming knowledge and experience with Java, JavaScript, Go, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.\nLarge data management and analytics. Setting up, using, and maintaining databases\nFront-end or back-end web development.\nCPU Program Management Experience.\nCPU Core Design Experience.\nExperience using and managing team collaboration tools such as TWiki, Confluence, JIRA, Slack, etc.\nSkilled with Microsoft Tools: Office (esp.
