Medical Assistant
As a Medical Assistant at our clinic, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with doctors and nurses to help with diagnosing and treating patients. You'll work on a one-on-one basis with patients in a confidential setting, so it's important that you are able to keep medical information secure and are professional and discreet when discussing patients' conditions and treatments. You will regularly communicate with doctors, nurses and other staff members, so excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this position.
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative and clinical tasks at the direction of doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals.
Adhere to medical guidelines.
Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and operations.
Operate medical instruments and equipment as directed by a medical professional.
Evaluate test results to help determine the course of patient care.
Provide support and assistance to medical professionals.
