Database Administration & Maintenance\r\n• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases\r\n• Monitor database performance and ensure optimal uptime\r\n• Perform routine database maintenance (indexing, backups, integrity\r\nchecks)\r\n• Manage database upgrades, patches, and migrations\r\n2. Performance Tuning & Optimization\r\n• Analyze query performance and optimize slow-running queries\r\n• Implement indexing strategies and partitioning where needed\r\n• Monitor CPU, memory, and I/O usage related to databases\r\n• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and performance issues\r\n3. Backup & Disaster Recovery\r\n• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies\r\n• Perform regular backup verification and restore testing\r\n• Configure High Availability (HA) solutions (Always On, clustering, replication)\r\n• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness\r\n4. Security & Compliance\r\n• Manage database access, roles, and permissions\r\n• Implement data security standards (encryption, auditing)\r\n• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations\r\n• Monitor and mitigate security risks\r\n5. Database Design & Development Support\r\n• Assist developers with schema design and SQL query optimization\r\n• Review database changes and deployment scripts\r\n• Maintain data integrity and enforce standards\r\n6.
