Primary PurposeUnder moderate supervision organize and manage the routine work activities of a central administrative department office and provide clerical support to the department with an emphasis on State and Federal Programs. Administrative, procurement and accounting responsibilities include requisitions, purchase orders, quote and bid specifications and supporting personnel to ensure compliance with grant administration. A percentage of this position is federally funded.QualificationsEducation/Certification:High School diploma or GED required, Associate's degree or higher preferredCoursework in business, accounting or finance related field preferredSpecial Knowledge/SkillsKnowledge of state and federal programs including ESSA, ESSER, SCE, Title III, etc.Proficient in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint;Significant knowledge and experience with Excel;Familiar with internal accounting controls and accounting procedures;Administrative organization, calendar maintenance, planning meetings, and events;Interpersonal relations, teamwork and team-building, and customer service;Developing solutions to complex problems in unique and innovative ways;Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills to coordinate requests and incidents, including determining priorities and allocating tasks with highly sensitive and confidential dataExperienceThree years of successful experience in administrative assistant role preferredExperience in a school setting preferredWork Schedule: 221 DaysSalary: Pay Grade 6 / Clerical/Paraprofessional Hiring ScheduleScreenings may begin 5 school days from date posted.
