Saftea Material Handler - 2nd shift

Summary
Stock & delivery of materials needed by production assemblers to assemble food grade disposable liners.
Starting hourly rate of $17.75 per hour + a $1.00 hour shift premium.
Second shift work schedule is Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Saftea Material Handler
Stock workstations upon shift start
Fill additional bins of components
Assemble & stage boxes with daily labels
Periodically stock each workstation with components to ensure production assemblers have all they need to complete assembly
Remove finished goods from workstations and palletize
Complete tracking tickets and stage finished goods
Communicate raw materials needs with warehouse personnel
Move pallets of raw materials and finished goods with a pallet-jack
Conduct assembly responsibilities
Assembly (when applicable)
Place parts onto fixture for assembly
Press fit parts into assembly
Visually inspect the cuff and tube, and overall visual inspection for critical characteristics
Count and place parts into bin
Fold bags in half
Place in box
Other Responsibilities
Documents non-conforming material
Maintains a clean work area and ensures work area is clean at the end of shift
Operates pallet jack as needed

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 6 months successful manufacturing experience is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Able to accurately count to 50.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
