Electrical Estimator

Job description:Central State Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Electrical Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for primarily industrial, commercial, residential electrical construction projects, including both design-build and plan-and-spec work.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, organized, and interested in long-term growth within the company while supporting the current team and helping expand the business .Interested in advancing within the company and pursuing future promotion opportunities.Communicates well with team and clients and in a professional manner.Takes ownership of workTeam-OrientedDutiesPrepare accurate and complete electrical estimates for bid submissionsReview drawings, specifications, and project documentsPerform quantity takeoffs and pricingCoordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teamsAssist with project turnover and handoff to operationsIdentify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential cost impactsSupport multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyMust Meet at Least One of the Following Qualifications:High school diploma or GED with at least 7 years of electrical estimating experience.IBEW Journeyman Electrician with at least 2 years of electrical estimating experienceBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field with at least 5 years of electrical estimating experience.Software RequirmentsCandidates must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Experience with electrical estimating, takeoff, and project management software is preferred.
