The ideal candidate will provide expert-level support for AWS cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps platform operations, ensuring system reliability, security, and optimal performance in a production environment. This is a remote position.\r\nIn this position, you can expect to:\r\nSupport AWS cloud infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging for mission-critical systems\r\nProvide Tier 3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests\r\nTroubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, and security services\r\nInvestigate and diagnose performance bottlenecks and resource constraints\r\nSupport CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and resolve platform-level deployment failures\r\nPerform root cause analysis for infrastructure incidents and implement preventive measures\r\nManage infrastructure configuration updates through Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\r\nCoordinate incident response activities with development, security, and operations teams\r\nSupport infrastructure maintenance including patching, scaling, and backup verification\r\nMonitor security events and respond to potential threats or vulnerabilities\r\nOptimize AWS resource utilization and support cloud cost management initiatives\r\nMaintain documentation of infrastructure configurations and operational procedures\r\nSupport disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning\r\nEnsure infrastructure environments comply with federal security requirements and audit controls\r\nCollaborate with DevSecOps teams on automation and tooling improvements\r\nInterface with AWS support and third-party vendors for escalated infrastructure issues\r\nAs with any technical environment, the exact role responsibilities will evolve with the changing needs of our client. We are looking for versatile candidates who thrive on new challenges and can readily adapt to additional responsibilities beyond those listed above.\r\nPreferred Experience and Qualifications\r\nAt least 8 years of total professional experience supporting infrastructure operations, cloud engineering, or DevOps environments\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline\r\nStrong experience with AWS core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB, Route53, and CloudFront\r\nExperience with AWS security services including IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty\r\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation\r\nExperience with container platforms such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes\r\nExperience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline\r\nStrong Linux/Unix system administration skills\r\nExperience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic\r\nFamiliarity with networking concepts including VPC, subnets, routing, DNS, and VPN\r\nUnderstanding of federal security compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST\r\nExperience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash\r\nExisting or recent DHS clearance is a major plus.
