Work consists of day-to-day drilling and pullback of various sized conduits for outside plant fiber networks. Most of the work is performed under master service agreements with telecom carriers and regional utilities. The scope of work consists of new builds, maintenance, and restoration in rural and metro areas and the scope of work varies between each job.\nRequirements:\n\nLocate underground utilities and monitor locating process during drilling\nRead prints and demonstrate good judgement in the field\nWork as a team in tandem with supervisor, manager, and other crew members\nPerform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies\nMust Have Experience:\n\nOperating drill and/or locating equipment: 3 years\nOperating Ditch Witch and Vermeer Drilling equipment (JT5 / D10x15): 2 years\nHeavy Equipment Operator WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Required to work within limited confines, such as crawl spaces, as needed.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.\nThe employee must be able to work in an outdoor environment year around in all weather conditions.
