This role is responsible for designing HVAC building automations systems for commercial bid-spec and design-build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC control systems and excellent problem-solving skills.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign automatic temperature control systems for bid-spec and design-build projects.\nResearch all equipment to be controlled and determine the correct method for control and integration.\nCreate AutoCad point-to-point control diagrams.\nDevelop sequence of operations to meet project specifications.\nEnsure the system remains within the estimated project cost.\nAssemble a bill of materials and equipment data sheets.\nGenerate a submittal and collaborate with the customer to obtain system approval.\nCreate project as-built control drawings and documentation.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in the Engineering field is preferred but not required.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls engineering.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC control systems, including DDC, PLC, and BMS platforms.\nExperience working with major control manufacturers such as Honeywell, Distech, Johnson Controls, or Trane is a plus.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.\nWillingness to travel as required for project needs.\nPositions Type and Expected hours of Work: This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.\nTravel: Position location will be located at the Fall River, MA offices.\nPhysical Demands: This position requires the employee to work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment.
