Gift Shop Manager

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overall management of the Pink Pearl Gift Shop in the hospital location, online and through kiosk sales.Responsible for purchasing merchandise and maintaining accurate inventory controls under the point-of-purchase system in the shop and through Shopify.Able to display merchandise to maximize sales appeal.Handles all administrative operations accurately and in a timely manner.Develops a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year to bring in more revenue in-store and online.Maintains knowledge of the point-of-purchase system in-store and online and can provide training to staff and volunteers.Communicates effectively on emails, and social media marketing to promote sales.Responsible for conducting an annual inventory.Manages all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.Promotes quality customer service and teamwork.Attends meetings monthly to report sales and specialty events.Required QualificationsComputer and Micro Office software skills are a must.Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.Strong communication skills, including written, are a must.Bookkeeping skills are a must.Superior customer satisfaction skills are a must.Ability to work in fast, paced changing environment is a must.Knowledge and ability to work with social media marketing is a must.Must be able to handle extensive stooping, bending, reaching, standing and walking.Regularly lifts up to 20 pounds.Visual and hearing acuity necessary.Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor.J-18808-Ljbffr
