Laborer - Gas
Laborer - Gas A Laborer should possess at least a fundamental understanding of construction and be familiar with working with tools and their hands. Experience in the gas construction industry is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities:Hand dig and back fill trenches Assist in installing gas lines Trained to operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws Drive pick-up and one-ton vehicles to and from job site Carry and load materials to be used on the job Follow all company safety policies and practices Wash and clean vehicles and equipment Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment Safety training as required by position Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed Other duties as assigned Essential Education and Qualifications:Gas construction experience Join and maintain union membership Good verbal communication skills Must have valid driver's license Valid DOT Health Card Successful completion of OQ training Preferred Skills:Class A Driver's License (CDL) OSHA 10 SWPPP certificate Physical Demands:Must be physically fit to endure the daily activity involved with the job Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Pay Scale- Union Scale rate: $30.69/hr All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
