This role performs both black‑box and white‑box testing to validate functionality, reliability, and system behavior. The Associate QA Engineer is expected to adapt quickly to new technologies, contribute to modern QA transformations including AI‑assisted testing approaches, and step in to perform detailed manual testing when automation is not feasible or appropriate.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nExecute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability\n\nParticipate in black‑box and white‑box testing activities, including test design informed by code structure, logic, and system behavior\n\nDevelop, modify, and execute software test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts under guidance from senior QA or engineering staff\n\nAnalyze test results, document defects clearly, and verify fixes to ensure existing functionality is preserved\n\nMaintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, execution results, and defect records, to support debugging and product evolution\n\nWork closely with development engineers to investigate, reproduce, and resolve software issues early in the development lifecycle\n\nProvide feedback on system behavior and testability to support continuous improvement in software design and implementation\n\nContribute to QA process improvements, including exploration and adoption of AI‑assisted testing tools, test optimization techniques, and modern automation frameworks\n\nAdapt testing approaches as technologies evolve, including new programming languages, platforms, architectures, or development methodologies\n\nDemonstrate readiness to perform fully manual testing when required, such as exploratory testing, regression validation, or validation of complex workflows\n\nSupport quality integration of software into broader systems involving computation, data acquisition, and data processing\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation / Experience\n\n• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science\n\n• 0 - 1 year of relevant SQA work experience\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\n\nUnderstanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle\n\nExperience with C and/or C++ and/or C#\n\nWorking knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows\n\nWorking knowledge of Visual Studio\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook\n\nWorking knowledge of computer operation and principles of computer hardware\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\n\nAbility to communicate and collaborate with other team members\n\nAbility to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment\n\nDetail-oriented and organized\n\nHands-on experience with AI-driven projects or applying AI tools to improve workflows, automation, or process efficiency\n\nStrong programming skills in C#, with ability to support development, testing, or automation tasks as needed\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
