Our mission is to help homeowners make their homes more comfortable and sustainable while reducing energy costs.\nDescription\n\nThis is a focused, specialized role: you'll spend your days performing the electrical work behind residential heat pump systems — wiring equipment, running circuits, and completing panel and service upgrades to support installs. If you want deep, hands-on repetition in a high-demand, fast-growing corner of the electrical trade, this is built for you.\n\nYou'll work directly alongside licensed electricians and our installation crews, building real technical skill on every job while progressing toward your journeyman's license.\n\nCompensation\n$25–$35/hr, depending on years of, and related, experience.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nInstall, wire, and upgrade electrical components and systems supporting heat pump installations\nSupport panel changes and service upgrades under the direction of a licensed electrician\nTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults under supervision\nRead and interpret electrical layouts, schematics, and equipment submittals\nMaintain compliance with electrical codes, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols\nCollaborate closely with licensed electricians, project coordinators, and operations managers\nParticipate in structured on-the-job training to build toward journeyman licensure\nQualifications & Preferred Experience\nActively working toward a Massachusetts Electrical Apprentice license through the Board of State Examiners of Electricians\n2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Those with experience related to heating and cooling systems with be prioritized.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical layouts, schematics, and equipment specifications\nComfortable with focused, repetitive electrical work specific to heat pump systems\nStrong teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively on a crew\nFull-time availability, with flexibility for after-hours work when needed\nAuthorized to work in the U.S.\nValid driver's license required\nAble to pass a background check and drug test (does not screen for marijuana)\nPhysical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working in attics, basements, and crawlspaces; able to climb ladders and work in varying seasonal/outdoor conditions.\nLogistics\nService area: Metrowest and Eastern Massachusetts - you'll travel to job sites across this area daily.\nSchedule: Consistent, full-time work, year-round, Monday–Friday — no on-call or after-hours rotation. We're proud to offer a stable, reliable schedule you can build a life around.\nTools & vehicle: Crew leads (Licensed Journeymen, or those who prove they can handle running jobs) receive a company van outfitted with tools. You should expect to use your own vehicle to travel to/from job sites daily.
