Project Safety Manager

Safety Worxs is seeking a Project Safety Coordinator (PSC) for a heavy civil, parking garage project in Houston, TX. The PSC must have 7 years in commercial construction safety. Responsible for leading and managing all construction safety activities from project commencement through substantial completion.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and oversee the project’s safety program throughout the full construction lifecycle.Implement and manage construction safety processes, including hazard identification, mitigation, and routine field inspections.Conduct incident investigations and prepare documentation with preventive recommendations.Provide documented continuing education and practical trainingQualifications7+ years commercial construction safety only. including: 5+ years in building construction safety process management (general industry, industrial or specialty contractor safety experience will not be considered for meeting the requirement); or 4-year safety degree and 3+ years of actual field building safety experience.OSHA 500Documented continuing education in the following, dated within the last 5 yearsCurrent CPR/AED/First AidPreferred:Local candidate, per diem is not offeredSuccessful achievement of a nationally recognized safety certification (CSP, CHST, etc.)Benefits:Full-time & OT AvailableFree Healthcare benefitsDental, vision, life insurance available401k at 4% match$50 - $55 Depending on Experience
