As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in building end-to-end solutions, co-writing technical documentation for new features, and working with both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of git/source control and familiarity with Gen-AI tools and their practical applications in development workflows. This position is fully remote and reports to the Chief Technology Officer.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nMinimum 3-5 years of Ruby on Rails experience\r\nMinimum 7+ Coding experience\r\nAWS Experience - Must Meet ONE of the Following:\r\n6+ years of hands-on experience using AWS as a developer, OR\r\n6+ years managing AWS infrastructure/cloud environments, OR\r\n4+ years of AWS experience with a valid AWS certification (see accepted certifications below)\r\nAccepted AWS Certifications (Ideal):\r\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or\r\nAWS Certified Developer – Associate\r\nFamiliarity with Gen-AI tools and their practical applications in development workflows\r\nAbility to build end-to-end solutions with minimum coupling\r\nStrong understanding of git/source control\r\nComfortable working with and understanding both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms\r\nAbility to co-write technical documentation with AI/familiarity\r\nExperience working with Docker\r\nPreferred Knowledge\r\nExperience working with WebRTC\r\nExperience writing performant JavaScript preferably Stimulus, Hotwire, or Importmaps\r\nExperience with asset optimization techniques\r\n2+ years Postgres\r\nIdeal Candidate\r\nExperience working in a remote startup environment\r\nHold AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification\r\nPassion for programming\r\nExperience spearheading projects from start to finish\r\nHas a quiet and clean place to work from home\r\nStrong work ethic, + experience with small-size teams\r\nStrong communication and positive attitude\r\nExperience mentoring junior developers\r\nBenefits\r\nComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans\r\nPTO, including vacation and company holidays\r\nGenerous continuing education allowance\r\nEmployee stock option plan\r\nRemote-first workplace\r\nOpen, diverse, and respectful work culture\r\nCompensation Range: $150,000 - $180,000 per year.
