{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f5589e91dfff736f83dce00e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f5589e91dfff736f83dce00e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f5589e91dfff736f83dce00e","title":"LEAD ARCHITECT","description":"Architect Specific\n\nProvide architectural design leadership and project management throughout all phases of design and construction.\nDevelop conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents (drawings and specifications).\nProduce rendered images, animations, and marketing materials to support project pursuits and business development efforts.\nDeliver milestone packages in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.\nEstablish and maintain drafting templates, BIM standards, and design libraries to support internal workflows.\nSupport 5D / Model-Based Estimating collaboration with Preconstruction teams.\nAssist in Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) efforts including model coordination and clash detection.\nApply knowledge of construction means and methods across projects of varying size and complexity.\nSupport preconstruction planning, field coordination, and construction administration activities.\nParticipate in site visits to gather data, verify existing conditions, and support field teams.\nPreconstruction Process\nSupport design-build project pursuits, including development of project scope, preparation of proposal deliverables, and participation in client presentations and interviews.\nAlong with the construction Operations Team Lead, coordinate with Preconstruction and Design to ensure the appropriate Budget is established, all design and preconstruction meetings are conducted, as required.\nWork with Preconstruction to analyze alternative design options\nOversee Project Design\nLead architectural design efforts from concept through construction, ensuring design intent, quality, and technical accuracy.\nCoordinate closely with civil, structural, and MEP engineering disciplines to develop integrated building solutions.\nCollaborate closely with construction, estimating, and engineering teams to ensure design solutions are practical, buildable, and aligned with project budgets.\nEnsure compliance with building codes, life safety requirements, and applicable regulations and other local codes and standards.\nServe as a leader during design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.\nReview submittals, respond to RFIs, and support the team during the construction administration phase.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary design efforts and resolve design conflicts, constructability issues, and field constraints early in the design process.\nMentor and support the development of junior architects and designers.\nCoordinate with project management to ensure design deliverables meet project milestones.\nContribute to continuous improvement of design standards, workflows, and technical practices within\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field\n\nExperience:\n\n10+ years of experience in the A/E Building Design & Construction industry;
