Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,846 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: OR - Operating RoomDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelResponsibilitiesCirculate and scrub across multiple surgical specialties.Maintain sterile field and enforce infection control protocols.Anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical equipment/supplies (Hana table, ESU, fiber optic systems, Da Vinci Xi, Mazor robot).Provide trauma and emergency response support (codes, malignant hyperthermia, latex allergy management).Administer blood products, perform specimen handling/labeling, and enforce Universal Protocol/Time Out procedures.Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical teams, and interdisciplinary services (respiratory, PT, RRT, pharmacy, radiology)Unit & Case Mix:General OR, trauma, bariatrics, neuro, ortho/spine, plastics, urology, transplant, and emergency management.Excludes CV surgery.Level I trauma exposure required.Active Illinois RN license Minimum 3 years OR experience; travel and Level I trauma required.
