Any employment offer extended will be conditional upon contract award and successful completion of all required pre-employment processes, which may include background checks, drug screening, verification of work eligibility, and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, if required by the position.\n\nJob Description\nPlan, Coordinates, manages, and directs quality activities for all afloat and ashore MCMC function and activities of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. This position requires the focus on maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency with material and equipment operations in an MPF environment. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding quality initiatives, status updates and challenges.\n\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system tailored for maritime operations.\nLead the site-wide quality organization, including quality control, inspection, systems, and compliance teams.\nSet clear goals, adhere to KPIs, and development plans for the quality team; build a performance-based culture focused on accountability, responsiveness, and impact.\nServe as the senior voice of quality at the Senior Staff Level, reporting directly to Deputy Program Manager with data-driven insights and risk-based recommendations.\nOperational Excellence & Defect Reduction\nDrive execution of proactive quality assurance strategies that reduce defects, rework, warranty cost, and customer concerns based off Quality Management System\nChampion a data-driven mindset using internal and external quality metrics (e.g., DPPM, FPY, COPQ) to identify priorities and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nIntegrate quality into all facets of operations—Maintenance, Supply, Production, Material Handling, and Container—through daily tier reviews, process, and internal and external audits,\nSet containment strategies, and long-term corrective measures that eliminate recurrence of issues.\nCompliance & QMS Oversight\nMaintain and improve compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements, support audit readiness and documentation control.\nEnsure robust non-conformance handling, and effective execution of CARs and RMAs.\nSupport QMS documentation, procedures, and continuous readiness for external audits and certifications.\nLead kaizen and continuous improvement events focused on quality and process yield improvement.\nDeploy Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and drive measurable business results.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field (Master’s preferred)\nAbility to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance\nUS Citizen and active US passport\n10 years of progressive experience in the functional areas of Quality, Operations with Project Management, Equipment and Material Maintenance/Supply Management, Safety and Environment Management; 4+ years in a supervisory capacity\nDemonstrated success in leading campus or multi-function quality teams with a track record of delivering measurable results.\nDemonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS audits, and regulatory compliance; UL, CSA, or IPC experience is a plus.\nCertifications preferred: Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ CQE or CQM/OE\nHands-on experience with quality engineering tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, control plans, PPAP\nStrong problem-solving, facilitation, and leadership skills with a results-driven mindset\nExperience in electro-mechanical, low-volume/high-complexity manufacturing environments\n\nPrimary Location: US-FL-JACKSONVILLE\nWork Locations: USA-FL-JACKSONVILLE-REGENCY 9487 REGENCY SQUARE BLVD.
