This role focuses on creating reliable, secure, and innovative software to meet mission objectives, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Candidates should bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate within the requirements of a DoD contractor environment.\nSpecific Duties:\nConsistently delivers high-quality work as an individual contributor.\nMentors junior team members through example and feedback.\nDemonstrates ownership mindset, seeing problems through to resolution.\nDesigning and building systems that are robust, maintainable, and performant.\nWorking within complex codebases or distributed systems.\nIntroduces improvements in architecture, build tooling, or development workflows.\nSolves open-ended problems with limited guidance.\nBalances technical tradeoffs with product and business objectives.\nLeads technical discussions and builds consensus.\nProduces clear design documentation and effectively aligns stakeholders.\nExperience:\n3 – 7 years of experience\nThese technologies represent the types of tools and systems you may encounter with this position. Familiarity with any subset is valuable, but not required.\nProgramming Languages\nC++; C; Python; JavaScript / TypeScript\nEmbedded & Real-Time Systems\nRTOS (e.g., VxWorks, QNX, FreeRTOS); Embedded Linux; Deterministic and preemptive scheduling\nCI/CD & Automation\nGit; Atlassian Bamboo; Jenkins; Bitbucket Pipelines; GitLab CI\nUser Interface Frameworks\nAngular; Qt / QML\nNetworking & Messaging\nUDP/TCP protocols; Multicast networking; DDS (Data Distribution Service)\nEducation/Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.\nU.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
