Together, we push the boundaries of science to make more possible for our customers.\n\nYour Role:\nAs a Sr. EHS Engineer in our semiconductor R&D environment, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, taking charge of implementation and coordination. To develop, implement and administrate all applicable environmental, health, safety (EHS). Responsible for site compliance with all federal, state and local environmental Programs or Health and Safety regulations. Provides technical support to EHS division staff, engineering, facilities, and process engineering. This position will have a primary focus on Health and Safety or Environmental programs.\n\nResponsibilities\nProactively identify potential EHS hazards through risk assessments, Gemba walks, inspections, etc., and drive timely corrective actions.\nProvide regulatory guidance and administration support on all EHS regulations.\nDevelops relationships with other functions (e.g., engineering, facilities) to ensure EHS aspects are considered at the beginning of new/changing operations and drives improvement existing EHS methods and techniques.\nProvide specialized training to employees.\nManage site activities which impact areas of environmental and/or safety compliance with Federal, State, or Local regulations.\nProvide non-routine problem solving for engineering and maintenance groups.\nPerform investigation, root cause analysis and complete corrective action plans for environmental and safety incidents.\nPrepare and/or assist with composing reports and participating in audits.\nParticipate in site Emergency Response Team for hazardous materials spills and medical response.\n\nWho You Are\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in any discipline\n4+ years of industry experience\nExperience with Process Hazard Analysis techniques, particularly HAZOP, FMEA and What-If studies.\nLockout/Tagout, Hot Work, and Confined Space Entry.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong interpersonal skills including confident, supportive, collaborative, respectful\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nExperience in working with contractors.\nHave a background in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related industry\nGood understanding of Semi S2, California Fire Codes, OSHA regulations, emergency response and crisis management\nBasic understanding of risk management and risk assessments\nEmerging / high growth company experience\nAbility of interpret technical documentation such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, Shutdown Keys, and control narrative etc.\nFamiliarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations in the semiconductor industry.\n\nPay Range for this position: $73,000 - $219,000\n\nOur ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
