Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, and production equipment optimization.Location: South San Antonio (Lackland & Hwy 90)Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.Pay: Starting at $28 DOESchedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts + mandatory weekendsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform and lead preventive maintenance (PM) programs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machineryTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsDiagnose equipment failures using precision measuring tools and diagnostic instrumentsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manualsDismantle and repair defective equipment using hoists, cranes, and hand/power toolsInspect and measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision toolsFabricate or modify parts using machine shop equipmentAdjust and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiencyLead efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability (OEE)Support and mentor junior maintenance technicians as neededMaintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation (CMMS systems preferred)Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policiesMinimum Requirements3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumaticsExperience troubleshooting production equipment, conveyors, motors, and automated systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprintsExperience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to lift up to 50 LBSMust pass drug screen & background xaygatp checkPreferred QualificationsExperience with CNC machines, injection molding, or high-volume manufacturingKnowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Background in lean manufacturing, TPM, or continuous improvement initiativesPrior experience in a lead or senior-level maintenance roleCore CompetenciesAdvanced troubleshooting & root cause analysisEquipment reliability & preventive maintenance strategyStrong mechanical aptitude and technical expertiseLeadership, mentorship, and team collaborationPlease submit your resume and call the office at (21 #vipstaffing#zrsch
