These internships are designed to align with our equity strategic priorities, providing students with valuable, hands-on experience in community health initiatives.Program Duration: June 1 - August 2025Key Responsibilities:Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of community-focused health programs.Assist with outreach initiatives aimed at engaging local HBCUs and underserved populations.Help coordinate logistics for program events, including participant management and datacollection.Participate in in-person activities at MUSC facilities for approximately 40 hours per week throughout the internship.Collaborate with team members to create educational materials and resources for programparticipants.Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for program enhancement and communityengagement.Qualifications:Current undergraduate student attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) inSouth Carolina, preferably majoring in public health, social work, nursing, psychology, or a relatedfield.Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.Reliable transportation is required for on-site activities.Must comply with all COVID-19 organizational policies, including vaccination requirements and indoor masking where required.Compensation:Interns will be paid $15 per hour and work 40-hours per week for the duration of the 12-week internship.How to Apply: Interested candidates should complete the application by January 31, 2025.MUSC Health is an equal opportunity employer.
