There is focus in the areas of project coordination, business analysis, process design, ongoing project tracking, and issue resolution to support the department’s overall business strategy.\nJob Duties:\nDept Project Manager\nFacilitates and develops ongoing, regular updates of practice initiatives, pilot programs, and projects for the department\nDevelops project management tools and templates for use by practice team members and leaders, including project schedules and status reports\nManages tasks closely to ensure timely completion and alignment with practice quality standards\nMonitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions\nGathers and coordinates project-related deliverables to ensure quality and consistency of work products as well as shares project documents appropriately\nIdentifies, follows up, and actively manages any gaps or issues for projects in coordination with respective practice workstream leads\nLeads project related meetings between key stakeholders, as needed\nInternal Stakeholder\nCreates high-quality and well written materials, guidelines, correspondence, and presentations on behalf of leadership\nDocuments and distributes information (e.g. meeting notes, action items, follow up items) from internal project meetings\nUtilizes subject matter expertise to improve current processes and meet changing data needs as defined by regulatory changes and customer needs. Identifies, recommends, and develops significant, measurable processes to generate efficiencies, reduce operational risk, and increase levels of customer service through faster delivery and higher accuracy\nAttends internal meetings as needed\nReporting and Analysis\nMonitors and evaluates the department’s productivity though analysis and reports\nPrepares comparisons to budgets, goals, and prior year results\nIdentifies irregularities in monthly, quarterly, and annual results and investigates accordingly\nAssists in the forecast process to help quantify resource needs\nProvides pipeline and win/loss reports through the BDO CRM database\nOther duties as required\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nSupervises operations managers and other administrative personnel\n\nQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree , required\n\nExperience:\nSeven (7) or more years of project management/office operations experience developing and managing project timelines, prioritizing and assigning projects and tasks, and assessing progress, required\n\nLicense/Certifications:\nProject Management (PM), preferred\n\nSoftware:\nProficient in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, required\nUnderstanding common PM methodology, preferred\n\nLanguage:\nN/A\n\nOther Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:\nAbility to work in a deadline-driven environment with a focus on detail and accuracy\nStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skills\nAbility to foster and maintain relationships with professionals at all levels within the organization\nAbility to act as a strategic partner to regional and local business line, practice leadership and management teams\nStrong project and time management skills\nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all matters\nAbility to work independently or within a team environment\n\nAt BDO, how we show up matters.
