Job Description Fellowship Opportunity in Facial Plastic Surgery & Advanced Rhinologic SurgeryOur organization is currently looking for a fellow to join the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery for a one-year fellowship focused on Facial Plastic Surgery and Advanced Rhinologic Surgery. This program offers a comprehensive, high-volume academic referral practice with a strong emphasis on Nasal Surgery, and we highly encourage participation in mission electives.Within our department, you will find a team of four full-time, fellowship-trained Rhinologic and Skull Base surgeons, alongside three facial plastic surgeons. The fellowship will primarily concentrate on Nasal Surgery, including extensive experience in endoscopic sinus surgery, anterior skull base procedures, and selected reconstructive rhinoplasty cases.Additionally, training will encompass both nasal and facial trauma, which will play a significant role in your educational experience.While the fellowship provides extensive training in both Facial Plastic Surgery and Advanced Rhinology, there is a clear emphasis on reconstructive cases over cosmetic and clinic-based procedures.Fellow ResponsibilitiesAssist faculty with surgical cases at our institution.Select cases to ensure a well-rounded, fellow-directed experience.Engage in intraoperative teaching for residents.Participate in the Multidisciplinary Skull Base Tumor Board.Utilize standardized curriculums for reading and learning opportunities.Compensation and BenefitsThe starting salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $104,000, based on experience and faculty rank. This figure represents the base compensation and does not include additional variable compensation or productivity bonuses, which are determined by departmental compensation plans.
