This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Summary: This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-volume embedding and microtomy on tissue specimens Accurately handle small tissues and biopsy samples Maintain productivity standards: Embed approximately 35 blocks per hour Cut approximately 35 slides per hour Ensure adherence to laboratory quality and safety protocols Collaborate with lab team to support workflow efficiency Skills & Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of histology experience Bachelor's in Science ASCP Certification Additional Information: Location : Nashville, TN Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire) Pay Range : $32 - $37 hourly Shifts: 3rd Shift | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
