Candidates should be prepared for a field-based role with limited access to major metropolitan amenities and a strong focus on onsite collaboration.\nAbout the Role\nThe Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting project management, field operations, and project controls on a complex, mission critical build. This environment demands strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across technical scopes and fast-moving schedules.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage project controls and document management using platforms such as MS Project, Autodesk (BIM 360), and CMiC\nCoordinate site activities, including subcontractor logistics, sequencing, and material deliveries\nParticipate in planning and coordination meetings with internal teams and trade partners\nAssist in identifying and resolving design and construction conflicts in real time\nSupport QA/QC processes, including inspections, testing coordination, and verification tracking\nTrack and process submittals from approval through procurement and installation\nSupport enforcement of jobsite safety standards and protocols\nAssist in maintaining project schedule and ensuring milestone adherence\nReview RFIs, drawings, and specifications for technical accuracy and completeness\nSupport change management processes, including pricing and documentation (ASI, PR, CCD, etc.)\nHelp coordinate and document OAC and subcontractor meetings\nAssist with project closeout, including turnover documentation and as-built drawings\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\nExperience supporting mission critical, data center, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex projects\nFamiliarity with construction technology platforms such as CMiC, PlanGrid, BIM 360, Assemble, or similar systems\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to adapt in a highly technical, schedule-driven construction environment\nPreferred Experience\nExposure to projects with high MEP coordination, commissioning requirements, or critical uptime considerations\nPrior experience working in field-based roles on large, ground-up builds\nProject Location & Travel\nThe project is located in West Texas, about 90 minutes outside of of the Midland–Odessa region\nMidland–Odessa International Air & Space Port (MAF) serves as the primary airport hub for project travel\nRelocation, per diem, housing, and travel support are available for qualifying candidates\nTravel home may be taken every two weeks and will be reimbursed, with up to two flights covered.\nThis is a 2–5 year, project-based assignment with long-term stability and continuity\nPhysical Requirements\nCombination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday\nAbility to climb stairs and navigate active construction sites\nFrequent use of hands for computer and document management tasks\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs\nCapable of bending, kneeling, crouching, and working in a construction environment\nAdequate vision, hearing, and communication ability for both office and field settings\nThis is an opportunity to be part of a high-impact project where precision, coordination, and execution are critical to success.
