We all win together.\nWHAT WE’LL NEED\nThe Staff Engineer – Angular is a senior technical leader responsible for the architecture, performance, and reliability of consumer-facing web applications that support a high-volume, multi-billion-dollar digital commerce platform. This role operates at enterprise scale, designing and owning front-end systems that serve millions of users and directly impact revenue, conversion, and brand experience.\nThis engineer leads the evolution of modern web architecture across a distributed microservices ecosystem on AWS, ensuring high availability, sub-100ms performance expectations, and seamless integration with backend services. They establish engineering standards, influence cross-functional technical strategy, and drive complex problem-solving in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.\nThis role carries accountability for front-end system health, observability, and production readiness, including incident response and continuous improvement of reliability and scalability. The Staff Engineer partners closely with product, design, and backend engineering to translate business objectives into performant, resilient, and scalable user experiences.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\nOwn the architecture and performance of large-scale Angular applications serving millions of consumers\nDesign and implement scalable front-end systems integrated with distributed backend services on AWS (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, etc.)\nDrive technical decisions that impact user experience, conversion, and system reliability at scale\nEstablish and enforce front-end engineering standards, patterns, and best practices across teams\nLead complex architectural initiatives such as performance optimization, state management strategies, and modular design systems\nPartner with product, UX, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions\nOptimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability\nOwn observability, monitoring, and incident response for front-end systems in production\nMentor engineers and elevate overall team capability through technical leadership and coaching\nIdentify and solve ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges in a high-throughput transactional environment\n\nWHO YOU ARE\nNo job is too small.
