Check out the Pregis Purpose to learn how sustainability and social responsibility is at the very core of our company DNA.\n\nMaterial Handler\n6AM-6PM 2-2-3\nSAP Experience Preferred\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nPhysically prepare items for shipment, wrap and band per company standards & or CSIs.\nDetermine method of shipment by checking the shipping notes and order routing.\nAssist with receiving and shipping defective products.\nAccurate record retention for incoming and outgoing shipments.\nAssist with organizing stock, stage for loading and unloading trucks to maximize efficiency.\nKeep an organized and neat warehouse.\nAssist in weekly cycle counting of inventory.\nWill function as backup to receiving clerk but not limited to other shipping areas.\nCandidate Profile:\n\nThis position requires a self-motivated individual who communicates and influences with credibility and confidence.\nThis position requires an individual who can make a quick decision based on the facts given.\nThis individual should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to pay attention to detail.\nStrong interpersonal, time management skills and a proven track record as a team player are also required.\nMust have a strong forklift operating background.\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma / Equivalent\n5 years of related job experience including inventory reconciliation.\nWorking knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications (is a plus)\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n5+ years of related job experience\nDemonstrated use of problem solving and analytical skills\nDemonstrated written and oral communication skills (is a plus)\nTeam oriented and past success working as a cross functional team member (is a plus)\n#PFC1\n\nDiversity and Inclusion\n\nWe believe in diversity of thought and bringing together other traits and characteristics that make an individual bring a unique experience to Pregis.
