Team members work in a stable, growth-oriented environment with opportunities to contribute to high-visibility projects in the Oklahoma City area.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Roofing Sales role based in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. The Roofing Sales team member will conduct on-site roof inspections, assess damage or wear, and prepare accurate estimates and proposals for residential and commercial clients. The role includes generating and following up on leads, meeting with property owners and managers, explaining roofing options, and recommending appropriate solutions. Daily work involves coordinating with project managers and crews to schedule jobs, track project progress, and ensure customer expectations are met. The Roofing Sales professional will also maintain detailed records in the CRM system, support insurance claim processes when needed, and represent Yates Roofing at community events, referrals, and networking opportunities.Qualifications Practical understanding of roofs and roofing systems, including common materials, construction methods, and repair/replacement processes.Familiarity with working at height and basic safety practices on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs.Exposure to carpentry and related trades that support roof structures is beneficial.Knowledge of insulation and waterproofing concepts as they relate to roofing performance is a plus.Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with homeowners, property managers, and insurance representatives.Comfort using basic technology (CRM systems, email, mobile apps) to manage leads, estimates, and project documentation.Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area for on-site visits.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to lift, climb, and move safely on roofs as required for inspections.Prior experience in roofing, construction, or building materials sales is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and complete company training is essential.
