Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Hostler, you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by transporting tractor trailers on Operating Company property, including loading docks and designated parking areas, and to offsite maintenance or inspection facilities.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nThe Hostler is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.\nCommunicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.\nFunctions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.\nResponsibilities may include, but not limited to: Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.\nFuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.\nTransports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving. Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always.\nCompletes all required documentation.
