Candidates should have strong computer skills and excellent phone skills to work with providers, patients, and administrators. This is a PRN Weekday position offered remotely.Essential functions include:Receive inbound calls from patients and place outbound calls to patientsProvide clinical assessment based on established protocols and triage patients by phone or through patient portalRespond to patients’ messages in patient portal, create orders and route to appropriate partiesProvide administrative support for patients’ and providers’ needs in terms of FMLA, ADA, and LTD/STDCommunicate with Health Care Provider through approved methods as neededQualifications:Registered NurseCurrent demonstration of clinical proficiencyExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work within approved procedure and clinical guidelinesElectronic Medical Record Experience, i.e EPIC, Cerner, GreenwayAbility to use windows-based computer software including ADOBE, MS Word, MS Excel, Fax and othersMinimum RequirementsRegistered Nurse with Unencumbered e-NCL Licensure. California licensure is PreferredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in working in a variety of direct patient care settings including Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Critical Care. Women's Health or Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
