You will work closely with developers, IT-security teams, and government stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing database and infrastructure solutions.\n\nThis role focuses on improving system performance, supporting modernization efforts, ensuring data integrity, and translating application requirements into effective database and infrastructure designs within a complex enterprise environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and support Oracle and PostgreSQL database systems in enterprise environments\nMaintain and optimize cloud and hybrid infrastructure supporting critical applications\nTranslate application and software requirements into database and infrastructure solutions\nPerform database tuning, performance optimization, and schema modifications\nSupport system integrations, upgrades, and infrastructure changes in coordination with stakeholders\nPerform backup, recovery, and data integrity monitoring activities\nConduct security reviews and support IT-security validation and compliance efforts\nDocument system configurations, processes, changes, and operational procedures\nCollaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure system operations\nIdentify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and system architecture\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience\nExperience with Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration or engineering\nExperience with database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting\nUnderstanding of database architecture, data modeling, and system design principles\nExperience supporting system backups, recovery, and data integrity processes\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments\nAbility to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nStrong documentation and communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting hybrid environments combining legacy systems with modern cloud infrastructure (specifically GCP)\nExperience working in consulting environments involving direct client interaction and project delivery responsibilities\nExperience delivering IT solutions with government agencies\n#LI-Onsite\nAbout Us\nFor more than 37 years, we’ve designed and built innovative technology solutions for our clients most complex challenges.
