Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients. If CFY, must be under supervision as needed from the SLP clinical supervisor (SLP clinical supervisor available upon starting).Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy.Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patients specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.Maintain productivity standards as expected by Director of Rehab or Administrator.Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Current Texas licensure as a Speech Therapist or Speech Therapy CFYNew grads welcome to apply!Schedule:PRN Job Types: PRN Benefits: Flexible scheduleOpportunities for advancementLicense/Certification:Texas Speech Therapy License (Required)Work Location: In person
